TURKEY MEATBALLS
WITH HORSERADISH DIP
24 meatballs
Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
500 g turkey mince
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup milk
1 egg
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
onion powder, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
oregano, dried, to taste
basil, dried, to taste
rosemary, dried, to taste
frying oil
For the dip:
2 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp horseradish
Instructions:
- To a big mixing bowl add breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder, oregano, basil and rosemary. Add milk and stir to combine.
- Add egg and turkey mince. With your clean hands combine all of the ingredients. Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs, turning until browned and cooked through.
- For the dip, combine sour cream and horseradish and gently stir.
Entertaining tips:
- Turkey Meatballs with Horseradish Dip is a great appetizer to serve to a bigger group of people.
- You can prepare the meatballs a day or two before the party and keep them in the refrigerator. Combine the ingredients for the dip just before serving.
