ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS
servings: 2 – 4
4 cups Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and halved
3 tbsp olive oil
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 180°C.
On a large baking tray, spread the Brussels sprouts out. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
Arrange Brussels sprouts on baking tray so that they are cut-side-down.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are crisp on the outside and baked through.
- Even though Brussels sprouts are traditional side dish at Christmas dinner, you can, of course serve them at any occasion.
- in my experience, this is not the favorite vegetable of the young ones, so I would suggest also preparing kid-friendly side dish, like mashed potatoes.
