One Pan Beef Orzo



servings: 4 – 6


500 g mince beef

1 onion, diced

2 carrots, grated

2 cups peas, frozen or fresh

2 cups orzo pasta

2 x 400 g can diced tomatoes

420 g (1 can) corn kernels

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cups beef stock

Italian seasoning, to taste

salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste



  1. In a big skillet heat the oil, add onion and carrots and cook for 3 – 5 minutes.
  2. Add mince beef, cook for 5 minutes, add peas, corn kernels and tomatoes. Season and cover. Cook until beef is cooked through.
  3. Add beef stock and orzo, partially cover and simmer until orzo is cooked through.
