1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
dried thyme, to taste
1 sourdough sandwich tin
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter, add mushrooms and season with salt, black pepper and thyme. Cook until soft. Remove from the heat a let it cool for a few minutes.
On a bottom slice of the thin, layer mushrooms, onion, arugula and finish with the top slice of the thin.

- Mushroom This is great to serve at buffet or food station. I would offer bowls of cooked bacon, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, BBQ sauce or other condiments so guests can add to their sandwich if they want.
