avocado, halved, ston removed, peeled and  mashed

tomato, seeds removed, finely chopped

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 – 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

dried coriander, to taste

salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste



  1. Place avocado, tomato, green onion and parsley to a mixing bowl. Season with salt, black pepper and coriander. Gently mix to combine.
  2. Serve immoderately.


Entertaining tips:

  • You can prepare tomato, green onion and parsley in advance; chop and keep in air-tight container in refrigerator. Mash avocado just before serving otherwise in will lose its green color and become brown. You can also drizzle lime or lemon juice over avocado before mashing it so it will keep the green color longer. In my opinion, adding lemon or lime juice changes the taste of avocado too much so I usually don’t add it.
  • Guacamole is the great appetizer to make when you are hosting a last-minute party. It is quick and easy to make and a real guest-pleaser.
