COUNTRY STYLE DINNER
1 pork sausage
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 slices of bread
200 g baked beans (in tomato sauce, optional)
In a large skillet, over medium heat, on 1 tbsp of oil, cook the sausage on all sides until golden brown and cooked through.
In the meanwhile, place the baked beans in a small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes to heat them through.
When the sausage is cooked through, move it to the one side of the skillet and crack in the egg and fry until the white has just set and the yolks are still slightly runny (cover with a lid if needed).
Remove sausage and egg to the serving plate. To the same skillet add bread and toast on both sides until golden brown.
Add baked beans to the plate along with toasted bread. Serve.
